I myself am a teetotaler, but I did pull in there one day with car problems. The bar tender was extremely nice when I asked if they had some gas for sale.

Pretty good and pretty busy but still fun they do smoke inside but the floor is large enough to dance and they have a few pool tables. Check it out if in the area

My husband and I went to Rivers last night and we had a great time. It's not Rascals in Lake Park or like the bars you'll find in Valdosta, but for Waycross it was a pretty decent bar. I even got to meet the owner Jack, and I liked him very much. He was very friendly and didnt seem at all like how some of the other reviews described him as being. We will definitely be going back to Rivers soon.

Heather, the bartender, is very sociable and joyful to be around. The lake system is fabulous, and atmosphere is mostly cheerful... I go every other Friday or Sat. An highly recommend this bar....

My kind of bar! I don't drink, but I was looking to play some pool. The tables were in excellent condition, plenty of space, and affordable. The crowd was reasonably tame but a good energy nonetheless. Good eclectic music being played and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
